Do I need outdoor kitchen installers for a PoshBBQ pod?
Not in the traditional sense. The pod arrives fully assembled; our delivery team forklifts or cranes it into position the same day. You only need an electrician for the 13-amp supply and a plumber for the cold-water feed — typically half a day each.
How is a pod different from an installed outdoor kitchen?
A traditional installed outdoor kitchen is built on site over weeks: footings, blockwork, cladding, appliance fitting. A pod is manufactured complete, delivered on one pallet, and working the day it lands.
What groundwork is needed before installation?
A flat, level base that can take the weight — an existing patio or a simple slab. Our site-prep guide covers exactly what to prepare; most gardens need nothing new.
Do you install across the whole UK?
Yes — we deliver and position pods UK-wide, from Cornwall to the Highlands, using forklift and mini-crane offload. Delivery is included in the starting price.
How long does installation take?
The offload and positioning takes a few hours. Connecting power and water is typically done the same week by local trades. Most owners are cooking the same day the pod lands.
